Joanne Filardo
President
Joanne’s career includes extensive experience in sales, marketing, and management, having worked with large insurance companies, third-party administrators, and as an independent business owner. Since joining NDNI in January 2014, she has leveraged her expertise to collaborate across departments and companies and uphold NDNI’s position as a leader in the Discount Benefit Marketplace.
As the head of Sales, Service, and Design teams, Joanne has driven the growth of NDNI’s product offerings by creating opportunities through brokers, employers, and industry partners. Under her leadership, the team has introduced innovative products and programs, including MedAfford Global Inc., an international brand-name prescription mail-order service, which has expanded NDNI’s market presence and revenue.
Joanne is also the President of Security Life and Health Agency Inc.
Security Life and Health Agency Inc. offer financial programs to protect Social Security and Pension Assets with My Silver Promises â„¢ and My Pension Secure. Mortgage and Rent Protection through Your Mortgage Secure and Your Rent Secure.
Joanne is dedicated to maintaining and expanding NDNI’s and Security Life and Health’s product portfolio. She has revitalized the company’s social media and design departments, overseeing the creation of newsletters, websites, advertising “NDN Savings” mobile app and AI integration.
Raymond J. Marszalowicz
Senior Vice President Information Systems and CFO
Ray is a computer consultant who joined the company as its information officer in January of 2001. Ray developed the first bridal registry system used by department stores such as JC Penney’s, Macy’s, Fortunoff’s and Abraham & Strauss.Ray also taught computer science at Rutgers University for 5 years. He has been a systems consultant to Honeywell International, the W.R. Berkeley Corporation, as well as the Rockefeller, Harriman and other family organizations.
Neil Shapiro
Director of Business Development
Neil Shapiro began his career in the insurance industry in 1986 with The Equitable. In 1991, he founded a health insurance agency that quickly rose to prominence, becoming the second-largest agency in New Jersey for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield.
In 1998, he successfully sold the agency to Amwins, which has since grown into one of the largest wholesale insurance brokerage firms in the United States. Following the sale, Neil served as a Northeast Sales Representative for Key Benefit Administrators, the nation’s largest independent third-party administrator.
He has also contributed his expertise as a sales consultant for Broadreach Medical Resources in New York City and for National Discount Network Inc. Additionally, Neil is a founding partner of Security Life and Health Insurance Agency.
With over 40 years of experience, Neil brings deep industry knowledge across multiple sectors of the life and health insurance field.
